Turning 40 was a pivotal moment in my life. I realized that I had spent my entire life waiting for things to be "perfect". The thought that I could go my whole life without ever truly being happy with myself was sobering. I decided that life is too short to waste it unhappy with all the imperfections and to focus on the positive. I have felt a sense of freedom and empowerment every time I've taken a step towards living my best life and I will not stop this journey of self discovery and acceptance.
